RATTLED

Chad Maves - Missouri - November 10, 2022

Chad picked up a new lease in Missouri this year and was looking forward to spending some time down there hunting the rut. After planting food plots, hanging stands, and setting cameras, he headed back home to Wisconsin with high hopes of what might show up by the time November rolled around. Unfortunately, November brought warm temperatures and slow deer hunting movement. Despite the warm temperatures, Chad headed to the stand on November 10th. It was mid morning when he looked up and caught this buck cruising. He hit him with a grunt, but the wind was blowing too hard for the deer to hear him. Chad quickly grabbed his rattling antlers and banged them together. The buck turned on a dime and came running straight the tree and Chad made a great shot on him!
