MONSOON
Mike Mancl - Wisconsin - November 5, 2022
By: Brennen Nading (@nadingbr)
After getting word that Mike's top target buck in Wisconsin had been harvested by a neighbor, the wind had been knocked out of his sails. On November 5th, the weather was unbelievably bad. Raining sideways and 40+mph winds. Not typically the type of weather you want to hunt in but it was November and Mike crawled into his dad's gun tower in an attempt to get out of the elements a little bit. With no expectations due to the brutal conditions, Mike was surprised when a solid buck stepped onto the food plot that evening. As the buck began bumping does, Mike turned over a can call and the buck turned around and came to check it out. The buck stopped perfectly at 25 yards and Mike put an arrow through his heart. Another awesome hunt for our viewers on the Rut LIVE series.
