After filming Hayden shooting a black bear a little over a week ago now, Isaac was excited for the opportunity to hunt the opening weekend of the Wisconsin deer season back at his family farm. Although the weather was much warmer than you'd hope for, Isaac remained optimistic that he could get lucky and catch a buck still holding onto its summer pattern. On day 2, Isaac and Hayden picked a tree that was on the corner of a big corn/soybean field. They climbed into their GRiT saddles plenty early and waited. With about 30 minutes of light remaining, a buck that Isaac knew as "No Brows" stepped into the field. The buck was quartered away hard, and Isaac aimed back and drove the arrow into the good stuff. What a start for the 2024 interns!
