SAGGY

The goal in Wisconsin for Elliott this year was to harvest a fully mature (5.5+ year old) buck.   Although there were several higher scoring deer running around on the farm, most of them were young and not quite old enough to make the "hit list".  "Saggy" was a buck that the guys had multiple years of history with, and one that they believed to be fully mature.  The elusive buck dodged them throughout the bow season on more than one occasion.  On the second Saturday of the gun season, they picked the right spot and "Saggy" slipped up!  It sure is rewarding to knock down your top target buck!
