LAST MAN STANDING

A few hours away from camp Dinkota, Dan and his buddies had a deer camp of their own for the opening week of the season. With 5 guys in camp, 4 tags were punched in the first 4 days of the season and Dan was the final guy in camp with a tag in his pocket. With a marginal wind, Dan headed into a spot where they had multiple good bucks on camera and was hoping that the questionable wind would cooperate long enough for him to fool one of the bucks. As the night progressed, several deer were on their feet and eventually one of the shooters showed up and Dan made a great shot at 40 yards and the rest is history. 5 for 5 in camp made for a memorable opening week that Dan and his buddies will never forget!
