FIRST TIMER
Jim Sievwright - North Dakota - September 3, 2022

For anyone that doesn't know Jimbo, he grew up just down the street from Mike and they spent a lot of time together growing up. Once hunting came into the picture, they spent a lot of time in the field together chasing everything from deer to turkeys to waterfowl. As life happens, they got busy and went their own separate ways and began falling out of touch. The relationship has since re-kindled and Jim is becoming more and more involved with The Breaking Point. When we opened up the invitation for him to join us in North Dakota for the opener, there was no hesitation on his part to pack his bags. This would be Jim's first time hunting outside of the state of Wisconsin and he was excited to say the least. As luck would have it, on the second night of the season he would get his chance at a great buck. With light fading the buck worked across a bean field with a couple smaller bucks and made his way into bow range. Jim made a great shot and the buck didn't make it far before crashing into the cattails. What a fun hunt that I had the pleasure of being behind the camera for!
