HOT START IN KANSAS

Kyle and Dan were excited to find out that they drew tags to hunt in Kansas this fall.  With never having hunted the state before, the e-scouting began!  With a plan in place, the boys hooked up the camper and headed south to hit it hard during what they figured would be the peak of the rut.  Upon arrival, the guys began driving around to check out several of the public land parcels, not only to scout for deer sign, but also to get a gauge on the level of hunting pressure as well.  As luck would have it, they spotted a good buck on some private ground, not far from the public.   They figured it would be as good of play as any to start there the following morning.  It didn't take long and the deer were on the move.  This great buck came strolling through just perfectly and Kyle was able to knock down his first ever Kansas buck, and his 3rd buck of the season!
