Honor Flight Chapter: Freedom Honor Flight

Join us the weekend following the 4th of July in Warrens, WI at the Tomah Warrens Sportsman’s Alliance for a fun weekend of archery!   The 28-target course is family friendly yet challenging for the avid archery enthusiasts.  A good mix of terrain combined with a couple shots around and across the pond along with several platform shots makes this one of the more diverse courses on the schedule this year.

After you finish on the course, you can return to the indoor clubhouse for a nice meal.  There is sure to be a great crew on the grill and in the kitchen serving up great food and cold drinks.  Also, you will have the opportunity to check out the silent auction that will include dozens of archery and outdoor items to bid on.  The silent auction will be set up for both days of the event.   Also, the popular novelty shot returns for those looking to send some bombs down range.  This is a great time to challenge your friends and raise money for the cause.

“One of the primary objectives of HHAUSA is to raise funds to fly Veterans of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam to Washington DC to visit the memorial built in their honor.  Thanks to the Honor Flight Network, over 250,000 Veterans have taken this trip of a lifetime, receiving the respect, gratitude and welcome home that they deserve.  Having participated multiple times as a guardian, the Honor Flight has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.”

- Chris Hamm - President, HHAUSA, Inc.

Mission 25 will also feature a 22 target, two person, random draw scramble Saturday night with 60% payback to the top teams. The other 40% will be donated to local Veterans organizations.  Entry fee is $25 and we are taking the first 44 shooters at the event. Warrens, let’s show our support for this great cause, raising awareness for the 22 Veterans a day that take their lives.  These will fill up fast so sign up today. You can also email HHAUSA at chris@hhausa.org to reserve your spots.

I have personally been to several of the HHAUSA events over the last few summers and it’s truly an incredible environment.  There’s something to be said about the archery clubs, and all the HHAUSA volunteers that step up and contribute to make sure the events run smoothly.

There will be a handful of our TBP crew members at this event on Saturday, July 8th for the entirety of the day, and we are excited to meet everyone and talk archery while raising money for our Veterans.  We hope to see you in Warrens, but if your schedule doesn’t allow,  make sure to check out one of the other remaining events that will take place in August later this summer.
