With both an archery tag and a rifle tag in his pocket, Ben headed to South Dakota to see if he could make it happen. After hunting some miserable conditions and running around with his bow for a few days, seeing a lot of deer, but just not able to get in bow range, he decided to bust out the boom stick. After spotting this buck, Ben wasted little time making up his mind and was quick to begin the stalk. After getting inside gun range, he settled the crosshairs and made a perfect shot on the mature mule deer.
