JIGSAW

One of the first bucks to show up on the cameras this year was this guy.  Charlie, one of the interns, said that we should call him "Jigsaw" and it stuck.   This particular deer was fairly regular on the cameras for 4-5 days straight and then became extremely inconsistent by opening day.  On the 3rd morning of the season, "Jigsaw" gave us some hope as we caught him on camera in the daylight as he was heading back to bed.  With the wind in our favor, we figured it was a great opportunity to slip in and hunt him that evening.  Hunter was up to bat and just before dark the stars aligned and "Jigsaw" made his last mistake!
